Role Summary
You will translate business questions into measurable analytics requirements, ensuring dashboards and reporting are accurate,
consistent, and trusted. This role blends stakeholder partnership, documentation discipline, and data validation.
What You’ll Do
- Gather and document reporting requirements, KPI definitions, and dashboard acceptance criteria.
- Partner with data teams to validate metric logic, filters, and edge cases (especially around definitions and time windows).
- Develop clear documentation: KPI dictionary, report specs, and change history so results remain explainable over time.
- Support UAT by validating outputs against expected results and documenting defects with reproduction steps.
- Manage stakeholder expectations through transparent updates and clear decision documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of BA experience supporting analytics or software projects.
- Strong documentation, facilitation, and requirement-writing skills.
- Data literacy and working knowledge of SQL (validation and basic querying).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker in requirements and validation workflows.
- BADS Foundation Certification (preferred).
- Experience in regulated environments where audit-ready documentation matters.
